Mode of Action

At physiologic pH, chlorhexidine salts dissociate and release the positively charged chlorhexidine cation. The bactericidal effect is a result of the binding of this cationic molecule to negatively charged bacterial cell walls.

Product Properties

SteriMicroTM- Scub is bactericidal (including MRSA), fungicidal, tuberculocidal hand wash and an ideal product for skin disinfection.

Area of Application

  • SteriMicroTM - Scrub is a hand and body wash disinfectant solution.

  • Hand Disinfection prior to Surgery.

  • Routine use of SteriMicroTM - Scrub reduces risk of cross infection.

  • Whole body disinfection.

Direction For Use

    FOLLOW THESE FIVE STEPS EVERY TIME
  • Wet your hands with clean, running water [warm or cold], turn of the tap, and apply SteriMicroTM - Scrub.

  • Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the SteriMicroTM - Scrub. Lather the backs of your hand, between the fingers and under your nails.

  • Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.

  • Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.

  • Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.p>

Precaution

  • Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine.

  • Do not mix with detergent or other chemicals.
